The Chapel

Historic character, warm interiors

Over two hundred years old and full of charm, Providence Chapel combines its historic character with warm, welcoming interiors — the perfect base for beach days, countryside walks and cosy evenings together.

The ground floor is one open-plan living space: a dining table that comfortably seats eight, a well-equipped kitchen, and a sitting area built around the wood-burning stove. Upstairs, three bedrooms sleep six, and a private patio and garden offer a quiet spot to enjoy the outside.

The surrounding area offers beautiful coastal walks in every direction. Padstow can be reached on foot in around an hour, connecting you to coastal footpaths and the Camel Trail, and Bodmin Moor is an easy drive away.

Seven stunning sandy beaches along the north Cornwall coast, from Porthcothan to Trevone by Padstow, linked by wonderful coastal walks, scenery and wildlife.

Padstow & the Camel Trail

Reachable on foot in about an hour, or a short drive — connecting you to coastal footpaths, the harbour, and the trail along the Camel Estuary.

We spent a wonderful week at the Providence Chapel. We are a family of 5 and the house was perfect for our half-term stay. Beautifully renovated - modern, homely, welcoming. The 3 bedrooms were great for our young family – 2 doubles and 1 single room with bunk beds. 2 bathrooms, 1 downstairs. It was quiet, peaceful and the beds super comfortable, we all slept well after beach days. Kitchen perfectly equipped incl. Nespresso machine, air fryer and microwave for easy meals. Dishwasher and washer/dryer we used a few times. Smart TV and the Wifi is solid. Games available for rainy days. The house was really well set up and spotlessly clean on arrival. Gordon is a fantastic host – shared all key details and was very responsive. Will be back – beautiful beaches, lovely food and relaxation. My kids left great reviews in the guest book, think that says it all. Great stay! Great location - Padstow and Wadebridge nearby and super close to stunning beaches and Lobster Shed at the Pig, Harlyn!

We absolutely loved our stay. The house is beautiful, clean, very well equipped, homely and stylish. We had our four children with us, three of whom are 6 foot teenagers and we had plenty of space. Lovely garden too, we had a few BBQs. The location is great, we discovered some stunning beaches. This house is worth every penny, we would highly recommend it. Thank you for having us!
